James Tavernier is the latest footballer to be the victim of racist abuse on social media.
The Rangers captain shared an offensive message he received on Instagram – adding a shoulder-shrugging emoji to the post.
The message read: â€Å“Hello black. U r f***ing dog s*** and should be playing for black.
â€Å“N**** n****.â€
The post came six days after Tavernier took part in the Professional Footballers̢۪ Association campaign in protest at an escalation of incidents of racial abuse online.
