Manchester United have been ripped into by rival supporters after it emerged that clappers had been deployed at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Ahead of the team̢۪s Premier League fixture at home to Chelsea, images were seen on social media of the paper devices that had been placed in the stands.
The pictures sparked a debate over whether a major club in world football should need clappers to improve their atmosphere.
Especially given the fact Old Trafford is one of the greatest stadiums in the country with a capacity of over 75,000.
