Liverpool’s Champions League bus parade celebration nearly took a sour turn for Georginio Wijnaldum after he dropped his mobile phone off the top deck!
The Reds took to the streets of Liverpool to show off their new trophy to the hundreds of thousands of Kopites after they beat Tottenham 2-0 in Madrid on Saturday night.
Goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi secured their sixth Champions League crown and the game understandably sparked huge celebrations in the Liverpool camp.
That carried on when they landed back in Merseyside on Sunday but midfielder Wijnaldum appeared to get a little too excited.
When attempting to film a live video on his mobile he managed to drop it off the top deck of the bus.

Someone picked it up and handed Wijnaldum his phone back and the Netherlands international’s concern turned to jubilation when he realised it was not broken.
Wijnaldum explained: “Oh, it’s still working!”, before ending the video. Below you can see the hilarious video.
The 28-year-old played 62 minutes of the final and has been one of Liverpool’s top performers this season.
He was the hero during Liverpool’s stunning semi-final second leg win over Barcelona, scoring two quickfire goals on their way to a 4-3 aggregate win.
Wijnaldum is likely to feature for the Netherlands when they take on England in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals on Thursday night.
