A huge number of Liverpool season ticket holders will be in distress as they have no chance of buying Champions League final tickets.
The Reds booked their place in this season’s final in the most remarkable fashion, defeating Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield on Tuesday evening to complete an incredible 4-3 aggregate victory.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were without Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino for the match, and they were given no hope beforehand.
Nonetheless, it was one of those famous European nights at Anfield… perhaps the most famous all of Anfield nights.
Immediately following the match, Liverpool supporters rushed online to check out ticket arrangements for the final – but many were left worried.

The June 1 showpiece will take place at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano, which has a total capacity of 63,500.
UEFA confirmed earlier this year that just over half (34,000) the total capacity will be given to the two finalists, meaning each side has only 17,000 tickets to sell.
A further 4,000 tickets are made available to the general public, with the remaining 25,500 ‘allocated to the local organising committee, UEFA and national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters’.

There have long been complaints the teams involved in the Champions League final are allocated too few tickets, and the frustration will be renewed this season with a huge number of Liverpool season ticket holders set to miss out on a place at the final.
The Reds are understood to have 26,000 season ticket holders, but only 17,000 of those will be able to secure a ticket for the Madrid showpiece through official channels.
This means 9,000 season ticket holders won’t be able to secure a seat, and will be forced to go through resale sites to buy a ticket. This is a worrying thought given StubHub is already advertising tickets for as much as £4,000.
Furthermore, Liverpool supporters will have to pay a pretty penny just to get to Madrid, with flights being advertised for no less than £750 immediately after the whistle blew on Tuesday’s historic encounter.
Liverpool will play either Ajax or Tottenham in the Champions League final. Tune into talkSPORT this evening to hear full commentary of their semi-final second leg clash, live from Amsterdam!
