Roberto Firmino returned to Liverpool’s first team training ahead of next month’s Champions League final.
The forward last featured for the Reds in their 3-0 defeat at the Nou Camp in the first leg of their semi-final with Barcelona.
He missed the final three matches of the season with a muscle strain but the club posted a positive update on Tuesday.
The Brazil international took part in Liverpool’s first session of their Marbella training camp as he works his way back to full fitness.
The 27-year-old has been working with the club’s medical staff on his rehabilitation and will be carefully managed, with specialised programmes planned over the coming days.
Liverpool will be hoping Firmino can battle his way back to full fitness ahead of the Champions League final.
